On October 16, 2023, Mile Green held an exclusive prelude event at BTC Space in Phuket, an innovative tech hub where Mile Green will set up their showroom. During the event, Mile Green has introduced their automotive brand, ZEEGO, to the world.

The sleek and minimalist SCOOT2 caters specifically to tourists visiting the region. Through strategic partnerships with hotels, tourists can rent SCOOT2 electric scooters and explore the city at their own pace using Mile Green’s intuitive mobile app. Mr. Hui expressed his vision, stating, “We want every tourist to experience the city in their own unique way. Renting an electric scooter provides the flexibility to go anywhere, anytime while contributing to a sustainable planet.”

In contrast, the more robust and aggressive BIKE2 targets high horsepower bike enthusiasts and delivery drivers. With the increasing popularity of delivery apps, BIKE2 offers substantial benefits, including environmental preservation and long-term fuel cost savings. Mr. Hui emphasised the advantages, saying, “We understand that professional drivers cannot afford to wait hours for a battery to charge. That’s why our battery swap model allows drivers to quickly replace the battery, ensuring they’re always ready for the next delivery. It’s a game-changer.”

ZEEGO’s debut product line also includes two models of tuktuks: TK01 and TK02. TK01 features a classic car design, making it ideal for small tourist areas such as theme parks, villas, and beaches. TK02 aims to replace traditional fuel-powered tuktuks in the market, providing a sustainable and efficient alternative. Additionally, TK02 offers a cargo van version for commercial purposes. “We aim to enable all ZEEGO users to benefit from our extensive battery swapping station network. Our unique profit-sharing partnership with hotels addresses the potential challenge of limited battery stations. By the end of 2025, we aspire to capture 5% of Thailand’s motorcycle and tuktuk market,” shared by Mr. Hui.

At the event, Mile Green also showcased their cutting-edge battery swapping machine. Encased in stainless steel, this innovative device can accommodate up to nine batteries and fully charge them within a single hour. “Our battery swapping machine not only charges the battery but also incorporates a battery management system (BMS) that performs maintenance tasks, extending the battery’s lifespan. It’s a win-win situation for the environment and our company,” explained Mr. Hui. Equipped with essential safety features such as a fire extinguishing system and water-cooling system, the patented machine is tailored to meet the demands of the Southeast Asian market. Mr. Hui also revealed plans for expansion across tourism cities in Thailand before venturing into other Southeast Asian countries, including Cambodia, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Malaysia, emphasising the urgency to combat global warming.

In a final surprise announcement, Mr. Hui invited Calvin Lam, CMO of Mile Green, to unveil the group’s plans for a web-3 ride-to-earn platform called EVolve. This groundbreaking platform aims to incentivise EV adoption by rewarding drivers with EVolve tokens for every mile driven. The tokens can be spent within the ecosystem, fostering a sustainable and interconnected EV community. “We want to encourage more people to embrace EVs and contribute to a greener future. With EVolve, every drive becomes a step towards a better world,” shared by Mr. Lam. Mr. Hui concluded by assuring attendees that all vehicles and apps are in their final testing stages, with plans to commence large-scale operations no later than Q1 2024.

Mile Green’s ZEEGO lineup, powered by their game-changing battery-swapping technology, is set to reshape the EV landscape in Thailand and beyond. With a commitment to sustainability, innovation, and convenience, Mile Green is driving the transition towards a cleaner and greener future.
